وَالسَّمَاءِ ذَاتِ الْحُبُكِ
By the sky with its woven paths. Adh-Dhariyat 51:7
The name
The root of the word means to bind something firmly and in order: the weave of strong cloth, the rings of mail, the lines the wind leaves on sand. In the verse, the sky is a roof woven from ordered paths. Our work is the same at the scale of a building. Fibre, cable and signal are woven together so that they are not seen and do not come apart.
